STONE SOUR'S NEW ALBUM = PINK FLOYD + ALICE IN CHAINS

Stone Sour have been at work on what frontman Corey Taylor has said may become a double-disc concept album. Taylor recently gave a progress report on the project describing it as “Pink Floyd’s ‘The Wall’ meets Alice in Chains‘ ‘Dirt’ on steroids.” Okay, we're listening. The outspoken frontman may have bitten off more than he can chew by placing his band’s new album amongst two of the greatest rock albums of all time, but given the fact that Corey is not a B.S.-er, I'm inclined to believe he means business.
