1 WORD. JAYDIOHEAD.
I've always been a huge fan of taking two completely different genre's and finding a way to meld them together into a seamless piece of awesome. (I hate to admit it, but I was a Limp Bizkit fan.....notice I said WAS!) I think I may have come across the Holy Grail of genre mixing back in 2009. January 1st 2009, a DJ and Remix artist by the name of Max Tannone released a project that he called Jaydiohead. As the name says, it was a project that mixed the rapping of lyrical genius Jay-Z with the guitar riffs and beats of Alt Rock heroes Radiohead. The results are mind boggling. Check out the Music video that was made featuring cuts of 3 of the tracks on the album.
On a side note, rumours are still flying around the net that Radiohead have a project that should be ready to go sometime this year! 4 years is too long to wait for new Radiohead!
