ECONOLINE CRUSH SUES NICKELBACK

Canadian rockers Econoline Crush and Nickelback are set to go head-to-head in the courtroom. ChartAttack.com reports that Econoline Crush are suing the hitmakers for copyright infringement, claiming that the 2003 single “Figured You Out” “bears a substantial similarity” to their own single “All That You Are,” which was recorded in 1997. Roadrunner Records, Warner-Chappell Music, and EMI Canada are also named in the suit. The group are seeking “all damages permitted by Federal copyright law.” Listen for yourself. Do they have a case?
