DON CHERRY INTERVIEWED BY NARDWUAR! VIDEO AVAILABLE!!!
Don Cherry once bit another hockey player. Nardwuar The Human Serviette caught up with the host of Hockey Night In Canada's Coach's Corner at Vancouver's Rogers Arena, where the Boston Bruins were practicing for their next game in the Stanley Cup Finals. In the interview Don Cherry revealed that not only was he bitten when he played in the NHL all those years ago but he also chomped down on a finger or two in his time! As he always does with interviewees, Nardwuar presented Cherry with several gifts, including the theme song to the 1976 Canada Cup, and albums by Phil Esposito and Bobby Orr. He also pulled out a copy of BKS' "Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Techno," to which Cherry lent his vocals in 1993. The tune was recorded for charity. The Vancouver Canucks currently lead the Boston Bruins with three wins to two in the 2011 Stanley Cup Finals. The sixth game, which could see the Canucks winning their first ever Stanley Cup should they prove victorious, will be played tonight at Boston's TD Garden.
