BEASTIE BOYS WORKING ON A STAR STUDDED SHORT FILM!

Ever wonder what happened to the Beastie Boys after they left the party in the video for "(You Gotta) Fight For Your Right (To Party)"? Perhaps that question will be answered when Fight For Your Right Revisited, a 30-minute short film directed by Beastie Boy Adam "MCA" Yauch, premieres at the Sundance Film Festival later this month. Little is known about the plot to the short so far, but it's described as a sequel to the Beastie Boys' 1986 video for "(You Gotta) Fight For Your Right (To Party)." The cast, however, was revealed just last week. Elijah Wood (The Lord Of The Rings, Everything Is Illuminated), Seth Rogen (Zack And Miri Make A Porno, Superbad) and Danny McBride (Due Date, Up In The Air) as Adam "Ad-Rock" Horovitz, Mike "Mike D" Diamond and MCA, respectively. John. C. Reilly (Chicago, The Hours), Jack Black (High Fidelity, School Of Rock) and Will Ferrell (Anchorman, Elf) will also make appearances. They'll also be playing each of the Beastie Boys... though we aren't entirely sure what that means just yet, whether they're portraying the present day Beastie Boys or what. The full cast, which you can check out on IMDB, is completely insane and includes the following people: Susan Sarandon, Stanley Tucci, Will Arnett, Rainn Wilson, Ted Danson, Roman Coppola, Shannyn Sossamon, Steve Buscemi, Amy Poehler, Mary Steenburgen, Alicia Silverstone, Laura Dern, Milo Ventimiglia, Jason Schwartzman, Chloe Sevigny, Kirsten Dunst, David Cross, Orlando Bloom... We'd go on, but seriously, just go check out the whole billing.
