If you're someone with the bucks that Dave Grohl has kicking around, you can take home recording to a whole other level. But you're still recording in a garage. Shunning modern digital gear and his own fancy studio, Grohl brought the Foo Fighters, and producer Butch Vig, to his garage to record the band's seventh studio album. Grohl shot a video tour of his garage for NME, who will present him with the "Godlike Genius" award at next month's NME Awards ceremony.
