According to The Late Night TV Page, Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry will guest on the Late Show With David Letterman on Friday, December 11th. If you are looking for a bright side to Steven Tyler walking away from the band for awhile......one bright side could be that we get to see and appreciate Joe Perry a little more than we did when is doing his Aerosmith stuff! December 11th, have your TV locked on Letterman!

Vocalist Ben Kowalewicz, guitarist Ian D'Sa, bassist Jonathan Gallant and drummer Aaron Solowoniuk will play St. Petersburg's Glavclub on Feb. 10 and Moscow's Glavclub the next day. Tickets for both gigs go on sale Friday (Dec. 4) through concert.ru. Billy Talent will finish their gigs for 2009 in Europe before they take a brief break at the beginning of December. They'll pick things up again with more European dates in late January and early February before touring North America with Alexisonfire, Against Me! and Gallows (Hardcore Punk influenced) in March.

The 1968 track beat Guns N' Roses classic 'Sweet Child O'Mine' - which topped the poll five years ago - to the top spot in the poll by website MusicRadar,com, with 'Whole Lotta Love' by Led Zeppelin coming third. Just two songs from the past decade made the list; Muse's 2001 hit 'Plug In Baby' at 11 and The White Stripes' 'Seven Nation Army', which was released in 2003, at 15.

Linkin Park has announced a December 3rd release date for LPU9: DEMOS, a special rarities album available with a membership to the band's fan club, the Linkin Park Underground. The album and membership package can be purchased together at www.lpunderground.com and at select Best Buy locations and includes a t-shirt, patch, and other exclusive merchandise items. LPU9: DEMOS features nine unreleased demo versions of some of the band's biggest hits, including "Faint," "Breaking The Habit," and "Leave Out All The Rest." Also included is "Across The Line," a previously unreleased song recorded during the Minutes To Midnight studio sessions. Fans also get "Morning After (acoustic)," from frontman Chester Bennington's side project, Dead By Sunrise (as an exclusive download).

It’s been about four years since we last heard from the dub-hop pop-rock virtual band Gorillaz, but that’s not to say that gears haven’t been in motion. Before reuniting with Blur for a string of magnificent and massively-populated shows, frontman Damon Albarn had been devoting himself entirely to the third full-length Gorillaz effort, tentatively titled Plastic Beach. Plastic Beach is expected next year and will be Gorillaz’ first full studio album since 2005’s multiplatinum, heavily-worshipped Demon Days. The group’s much-anticipated return will reportedly feature a stylistic kaleidoscope of guests, including Snoop Dogg, Lou Reed, Mos Def, The Horrors and Barry Gibb.
