To kick off your Wednesday Tim Hortons Camp Day Version of 94Xposed, I've lined up a brand new track from Saving Abel. Even at he ripe old age of 64, the ever perplexing Neil Young still can’t get enough of his twisted road. Several sources have reported the addition of at least three dates to the aging rocker’s itinerary. The extra dates will take the week-old tour, which started with just four stops, to the Pacific Northwest for shows in Portland, Seattle, and Calgary come mid-July. Tickets for the new dates have not been posted on Ticketmaster.com, but venues in Portland and Seattle have the event listed on their websites. Brenda Costa, who is the assistant manager at Calgary’s Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium, cannot confirm the show on July 24th, and inquiries to Young’s publicity have not been addressed. These dates should be firmed up soon at which time Ill give you the details and let you know where to get tickets.

Bo Diddley (Born Ellas Otha Bates)

December 30, 1928 – June 2, 2008

Known as “The Originator,” Bo Diddley was arguably THE flashpoint of rock ‘n roll. He took the blues and injected a shot of the devil into it, forever bridging the gap between the two art forms. As a singer, guitarist and songwriter, Diddley was a direct influence on many of the greatest artists in rock history. The “Bo Diddley Beat” directly inspired the likes of Buddy Holly, Eric Clapton, Bruce Springsteen, Jimi Hendrix, the Who, the Grateful Dead, U2, George Thorogood, Elton John and countless others. Bo Diddley died of heart failure on June 2, 2008. He was 79.
