Metallica are moving on after being content to end their “Death Magnetic” promotion last fall. Drummer Lars Ulrich tells Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet that even though they technically are on a break, it may not be long before things resume. He explains, “In the past we would be fed up with Metallica whenever we returned home after a gigantic world tour, but this time it’s different. Therefore it won’t be that long before we start working on a new album. I think that we’ll probably already get the creative process going in March or April and go into the studio.” Ulrich says the vibe is really good in the band at the moment and that they are truly enjoying themselves. Whatever creative start they have this spring will be briefly interrupted in April when the band takes part in the U.S. edition of “The Big Four” with Megadeth, Slayer, and Anthrax at Indio’s Empire Polo Field.

According to TMZ.com, SLASH's (VELVET REVOLVER, ex-GUNS N' ROSES) wife has been accused of kicking another woman in the stomach at an OZZY OSBOURNE concert at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles, CA this week according to law enforcement sources. According to the police report, it all went down backstage - where Slash and Mrs. Slash were hanging out after Slash performed. Sources connected to the victim tell us Mrs. Slash - aka Perla Hudson - saw her rock star hubby talking to the other woman and flipped out.
