MOTLEY CRUE - LIVE WIRE Foo Fighter Dave Grohl is quietly working on a documentary about Sound City Studios — where 'Nevermind' and several other classic albums where recorded. Dave Grohl is well known as a rock vocalist, guitarist, drummer, comedian, and just all around kick ass dude. Lesser known are his directorial abilities, which we may get to experience soon enough. Rumours are surfacing that Tom Petty, REO Speedwagon, Nine Inch Nails, and even Eric Clapton may have a part in this project! There is no word on a release date for the upcoming documentary, in fact, Grohl hasn’t even announced it yet. The only reason I know about it is because the boys from REO Speedwagon have big mouths! Dave is currently on tour with Foo Fighters in support of their latest studio album ‘Wasting Light’! ----------------------BREAK------------------------ On Saturday KISS bassist Gene Simmons, 62, married his longtime girlfriend Shannon Tweed in an evening ceremony outside on the crystal lawn at the Beverly Hills hotel. At the reception Sophie and Nick both toasted their parents, and Paul told a few humorous Gene stories before wishing Gene and Shannon the happiness that he has found in his own marriage. Sophie, Nick, Shannon and Gene all sang during the evening. At one point Paul's son, Evan, played lead guitar as Nick sang the Doors "Roadhouse Blues." Then KISS, in wedding attire, took the stage and performed "Lick It Up", "Shout It Out Loud," and "Rock and Roll All Nite."
