OZZY OSBOURNE - NO MORE TEARS
ARCADE FIRE - REBELLION (LIES)

With the amount of secrecy surrounding Arcade Fire's upcoming album, you'd think they were the CIA and this was 1950.Yesterday, CHARTattack mentioned that the band selected Markus Dravs (Coldplay, Bjork) to produce their album — and that they've been working with him for six months. Billboard.com now reports that the band have nearly finished recording the as-yet-untitled disc, and that it's expected in stores in May. They are also reportedly releasing a single earlier in 2010, which means Arcade Fire-starved fans might be satiated sooner rather than later.

Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood was arrested by British police late on Wednesday on suspicion of assault and released on bail after questioning on Thursday. Surrey police said the 62-year-old rock star was arrested in Claygate, Surrey in southern England on suspected assault "in connection with a domestic incident." He was released "until a date in January pending further inquiries." Wood's spokesman added: "I can confirm that there was an incident last night and that Ronnie Wood was arrested. He has since been released on police bail. We have no further statement to make at this time." Wood separated from his wife Jo in 2008 and their divorce was formally sealed in court last month on the grounds of his admitted adultery. The couple had been married for 24 years and they had two children. Divorce documents made public did not name the person with whom the star committed adultery. Wood has had a widely reported relationship with Russian Ekaterina Ivanova.

Were you listening to the radio the morning of December 4th 1979? It's easy to figure out. You were if you remember hearing on the news, the unimaginable - 11 kids, rock fans, WHO fans, DEAD. Each, plus all of those who were injured, had been part of the herd, anxious to get the best seat in the house at Riverfront Coliseum, Cincinnati, 30 years ago today, as the WHO played to the thousands that purchased 'general admission/festival seating' tickets.
