Five Finger Death Punch are still going strong on their second album, but the third disc from the band may be coming sooner than you think. Guitarist Zoltan Bathory tells About.com, "We finished the last tour of this record. We did seven major tours on that part of the record, so we were anxious to come home and sleep in our beds for a while. We’re starting up within a week and hope to release somewhere around April/May. It’s a little bit of an ambitious plan, but we’re going to try to do it." Bathory says the quick turnaround is by design and he feels that bands are making a mistake by spending long periods of time in the studio, and he adds that with today’s technology it’s now possible to record in your own "studio" for a fairly acceptable price. The last album "War Is The Answer" spawned the wicked cover of Bad Company!

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH - BAD COMPANY
AC/DC - BIG GUN

Although AC/DC are among the top-earning entertainers in Australia, they're no longer at the top of the heap. A company named Global Creatures, responsible for the Walking with the Dinosaurs Arena Spectacular, has beaten the rock legends to the #1 spot, according to Blabbermouth.net. AC/DC made $131.4 million AUD in 2009-10, up from $105 million the previous year (when they topped the list). But it wasn't enough to hold of Global Creatures, who raked in $140 million AUD. The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers had to settle for #2 this time around. Of course, AC/DC have plenty of other accolades to cheer them up. Earlier this year, their Black Ice Tour was named the second-highest-grossing tour of all time. Their Back in Black album was named the second-best Australian album in history and AC/DC was honored in the Top Boxscore category at the Billboard Touring Awards in November.

1986 – A lawsuit was filed against Judas Priest and CBS Records, alleging that fans shot themselves after listening to the band’s music for six hours. The case was eventually thrown out of court. This was one of the first of many attempts by the hardcore conservatives to blame tragedies on music when mental instability is quite obviously to blame.
