94XPOSED FRIDAY FEBRUARY 4TH

We added 6 new songs to the X Playlist this week, so all week long Ive been debuting a couple of the new songs every evening on 94Xposed! I'll kick off the show today with a brand new single from the Manotick Ontario rockers, Hollerado! They released "Record In A Bag" about 7 months ago, and they have been pleasently suprised by its success! Check out the third single from the Canadian Rockers, this is Got To Lose on 94Xposed!

HOLLERADO - GOT TO LOSE
ARCADE FIRE - REBELLION (LIES)

The 2011 Juno Nominees were announced this past Monday so all week long Ive been taking a look at one rock category each day and giving you my pick for the win!
Group Of The Year:
Arcade Fire
Broken Social Scene
Down With Webster
Great Big Sea
Three Days Grace
As much as I love Three Days Grace, 2010 was a breakout year for Arcade Fire. They left their Indie roots behind and have become one of the most sought after bands in the world! So I have to pick Arcade Fire as the 2011 Group Of The Year! Arcade Fire will perform at the 40th annual Juno Awards, which will be held March 27 at Toronto's Air Canada Centre.

Slash is heading to the Super Bowl! A person familiar with the plans for Sunday's halftime show told The Associated Press that R&B star Usher and former Guns 'N Roses guitarist Slash are slated to make surprise appearances. Slash has performed Guns N' Roses song "Sweet Child o' Mine" on tour with the Black Eyed Peas; he also collaborated with Black Eyed Peas member Fergie on the song "Beautiful Dangerous" last year. The NFL announced in November that the Black Eyed Peas would be the featured Super Bowl halftime performer. Past halftime acts have included U2, the Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Paul McCartney and Prince and of course Janet's boob! Ah yes, Thanks For The mammories!

GUNS AND ROSES - NIGHT TRAIN
WHITE STRIPES - SEVEN NATION ARMY

After news broke that The White Stripes were no more, sales have increased dramatically. NME.com reports that according to figures on Amazon.co.uk, the band's 2010 live album and documentary Under Great White Northern Lights saw a 2,644% increase after the announcement of their demise. Amazon's Movers & Shakers chart, which tracks high performing albums, sees two other White Stripes albums in the Top 10: White Blood Cells, up 612% to #5 and Elephant, up 402% to #7. Yep. When it comes to the music industry, Death and Breakups are profitable. If only life worked like that.

Time for the final debut song of the week here on 94Xposed! We here at the X are extremely excited for a wicked night of high energy rock coming up on March 1st! Buckcherry, Papa Roach, My Darkest Days, and Bleeker Ridge are set to rock the stage and some lucky 94X listeners are going to have a chance to win a meet and greet with all the bands and a special autographed present too! The headliners, Buckcherry have released a brand new single this week and I think it really captures what The Jager meister Music Tour is all about. This is Buckcherry - It's A Party for the first time on PG Airwaves!
