Its a New Rock Wednesday on 94X! I have 2 new tracks to debut for you today and another 2 tomorrow! Three Days Grace have been known for being a band that refuses to release anything but a solid rock album. Since their explosion onto the rock scene in 2003, the boys from Norwood Ontario have released 2 multi-platinum albums with a third platinum album on the Horizon, and they were deservingly named the #1 rock artist of the year by Billboard back in 07! They have released a brand new track from their latest album, Life Starts Now!

Seether are in that transition phase, having just completed recording an album and preparing to hit the road. Drummer Johnny Humphrey says in a mailing to the band’s fans, "We have completed the tracking and we will be mixing next month. We are so excited for you guys to hear this….can’t wait!! We are very proud of it." The band worked with producer Brendan O’Brien on the still untitled set and release details will be worked out shortly. Humphrey says, "In the meantime, it’s time to get out, hit the road and do a few shows. It’s gonna be great to get out and play, maybe throw a surprise or two into the set list. You never know." Unfortunately we do not have any dates in Canada for their next short tour. THey have promised their Canadian fans that they will be up in the frozen North once the new album is released.

Drummer Frankie Banali is currently putting together a documentary, telling the full and complete story of Quiet Riot, one of the biggest bands in the world in the mid-80s, and the one that gave guitarist Randy Rhoads his start. Right now, he’s looking for funds to finish the project, and is inviting fans to get involved. Fierce Space Pirates attack and destroy the band's cargo ship, scattering equipment across the galaxy! Its a New Rock Wednesday on the X! I debuted a brand new single from 3 days Grace to kick off the show, and to end it, I'll do the same! Slash recently released a solo project that was LONG overdue! Its a solid album from cover to cover and features a ton of big name guest appearances. One Vocalist makes a couple appearences on the album and has also been tapped as the Lead Singer for Slash's touring band. That Vocalist is Alter-Bridge frontman Miles Kennedy! Slash has released their wicked classic sounding track, "Back To Cali" and its right here on Prince George's ROck Station, 94X!
