Dave Grohl has announced that the Foo Fighters' new album will be released in the next few months. BBC Radio 1's Newsbeat reports that Grohl told Radio 1's Zane Lowe that he and the band were currently in New York mastering the tracks that they recorded in Grohl's garage. "The process was so simple," Grohl said. "It was really in my garage. You could put a mini van in there and that's it. The fact that we did it without any computers it was just really simple. It just sounds massive. It's different to any other Foo Fighters album because it just sounds big. It was really inspiring." Excited is an extreme understatement when trying to explain how I feel about the impending release of this album! Everything Dave Grohl touches turns to gold and I smell Fort Knox with this upcoming release!!!

Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker will release his guest-heavy first solo effort, "Give the Drummer Some," on Feb. 22. The album, which Barker helped produce, will feature appearances from Slipknot singer Corey Taylor, B.o.B, Slash, Snoop Dogg, Tom Morello, Lil Wayne, and Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington. However, Barker's Blink 182 bandmates, Tom Delonge and Mark Hoppus, are not credited on the album.

Courtney Love is embroiled in a defamation lawsuit after posting insulting comments about designer Dawn Simorangkir on her Twitter, raising questions about whether celebrities should be held liable for defamatory posts made on social media platforms. Love is headed to a Los Angeles court on January 18; it's the first high-profile lawsuit revolving around a celebrity posting unflattering comments on sites like Twitter. Love's attorneys are hoping to prove that her mental state was not "subjectively malicious" enough to justify the lawsuit. Its about time someone shut Courtenay Love's ever open mouth!
