The Foo Fighters are looking to give some new filmmakers a shot at the big time. The group are currently holding a contest to find fans that could direct their next video. Singer Dave Grohl says, "I had this idea that instead of going and spending a ton of money on one video made by a director who’s done it a trillion times, why not split up the cash and give it to the fans and let the fans make 11 different videos for the band? Instead of just making one video as the album comes out, we’ll have 11 different videos for the 11 songs on the record." Pearl Jam have announced more plans for celebrating the band's anniversary in 2011. According to PearlJam.com, both Vs. and Vitalogy will be reissued in deluxe formats this year. Cameron Crowe's PJ documentary, Pearl Jam Twenty, will also see release, with an accompanying book and soundtrack. The band is also planning a "destination weekend bash" this summer and "a number of special events and new, unexpected releases."
