94XPOSED FRIDAY JANUARY 6TH
Malcolm Young – The AC/DC guitarist is 58.
AC/DC - HELLS BELLS
LED ZEPPELIN - RAMBLE ON
Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham’s original ’70′s drumstick sold for over a thousand British Pounds earlier this month in an eBay auction. Only three people were involved in the one week auction, and the buyer who placed the first bid ended up winning the prize. The final amount, you ask? Drum-roll please: the drumstick sold for the equivalent of $1625.37 dollars. It’s not often that a ‘used’ item is more desirable than a ‘new’ item but when it comes to something such as this, it’s the ‘used’ label that commands the high price tag. One close look at the picture reveals that this drumstick was definitely used. The fact that it’s said to be used by the late, legendary John Bonham during a Led Zeppelin concert gives it mammoth value. The seller insisted that this drumstick would make an “ideal present for a fan of the late Bonzo.” Clearly that depends on how zealous you are to bang on your drum with a very expensive drumstick.

The list for the Top selling Vinyl's of 2011 has been released and there are a few surprises in there! The Beatles grabbed top spot for the third year in a row with their classic album "Abbey Road". Radiohead grabbed #5 on the list with their latest effort "King Of Limbs", The Black Keys are the surprise finishers as they had both the #9 and #10 spot with Their Album "Brothers" at #9 and El Camino at #10. El Camino's placing is especially impressive as the album has only been available since December 6th. It only took 25 days to grab the #10 spot on the vinyl sales list! WOW!
BLACK KEYS - LONELY BOY
DIO - HOLY DIVER
One of the Top 25 metal albums of all time is being reissued this month. Dio‘s ‘Holy Diver,’ originally released in 1983, will be available on Jan. 31. The never version will feature all nine original songs and a “two-page spread of the photo-montage LP liner, with images from both (Dio’s) Rainbow and Black Sabbath days, that was included on the original release.” The album is considered by many to be the band’s best work and now fans will get to hear it straight from the original 1983 studio tapes. IGN Entertainment listed ‘Holy Diver’ at No. 8 on its list of Top 25 Metal Albums. It was made soon after singer Ronnie James Dio left Sabbath in 1982. Over the next ten years it would go on to achieve platinum certification in the U.S. and Silver certification in Britain.
