In his somewhat ironic health column in the Sunday Times Magazine, Ozzy says: I don't care what they play at my funeral; they can put on a medley of Justin Bieber, Susan Boyle and We Are The Diddymen if it makes 'em happy, but I do want to make sure it's a celebration, not a mope-fest." "I'd also like some pranks maybe the sound of knocking inside the coffin, or a video of me asking my doctor for a second opinion on his diagnosis of 'death'." I just hope that there are candyed bats available for everyone to bite the heads off of!
OZZY - LET IT DIE A sculpted guitar memorial to Kurt Cobain has been unveiled in a park in the Nirvana frontman's Washington state hometown. The dedication in Aberdeen on Tuesday marked the 17th anniversary of Cobain's suicide in Seattle. A diverse group of fans and Aberdeen residents, many born after Cobain's 1994 death, attended the ceremony. The sculpture was placed in a park near the Young Street bridge where Cobain spent time while growing up. The bridge attracts Cobain fans because it's mentioned in his song "Something in the Way." Besides the concrete guitar, there's a steel ribbon dangling in the air with lyrics from the Nirvana song "On a Plain" that say: "One more special message to go and then I'm done and I can go home." ------------------------BREAK----------------------- 2004 – Modest Mouse released their “Good News For People Who Love Bad News” album, featuring the breakout single “Float On.” Its a great album from start to finish and its perfect summer music!
