JET - ARE YOU GONNA BE MY GIRL On May 11th, Soundwave Revolution, the annual music festival held in major cities around Australia, announced VAN HALEN as the surprise headliner for all five of their huge festivals in September and October. Now, Van Halen officially acknowledged the shows by simply posting the dates on their official Facebook page. This makes the first time that the band has posted any major news via Facebook… or any major news in a long while. The band is currently in the mixing stages of the new album so it should be hitting store shelves soon! -------------------------BREAK----------------------------- Blog activist, mower of lawns and cat owner Matthew Good has just announced a cross-country fall tour. Starting Oct. 9 in everyone's favourite cottage country punch up destination, The Kee To Bala, Good will perform 33 dates stretching from Quebec to British Columbia before finishing up with a pair of hometown gigs at Vancouver's Vogue Theatre Dec. 2-3. MATT GOOD - INDESTRUCTIBLE Pop Evil released their new album War of Angels yesterday (July 5) and celebrated the moment with a no 1 hit on the i-Tunes rock chart. However 'War of Angels' is an album which may never have seen the light of day, had the band not managed to extricate itself from a pervious record deal.
