94XPOSED MONDAY FEBRUARY 7TH

1970, Led Zeppelin scored their first U.K. #1 album with Led Zeppelin II. Featuring the U.S. single "Whole Lotta Love," it stayed on the chart for 138 weeks on its way to selling over 6 million copies in the U.S.

LED ZEPPELIN - WHOLE LOTTA LOVE
AC/DC - BIG GUN

"Let There Be Rock", the AC/DC concert documentary that was filmed December 1979 at the Pavillion De Paris, will finally receive its long-awaited DVD release in June (postponed from the previously announced January). Eddie Trunk, the co-host of the VH1 Classic television program "That Metal Show", was interviewed about the band's impact for one of the DVD's bonus features. He wrote last year on his blog, "[The company which is releasing the DVD is] doing some cleanups to the audio and video and making it as high-def as the source will allow." He added, "I can tell you I have an advance and it looks and sounds great, but they are making it even better!"

The Foo Fighters played a second surprise gig on Friday night, again announcing the show last-minute via Twitter. The Foos played their entire, as-yet-untitled new album live once again at the Dragonfly in Los Angeles, followed by a second set of classic songs from throughout their catalog. It appears the Foos will play another surprise show tonight, at a location to be determined, as they tweeted a photo of a flier advertising the band with Bob Mould and Scream playing live on Monday, February 7, with the venue hidden. The As-yet-Untitled album hits store shelves April 12th!

FOO FIGHTERS - THE PRETENDER
NIRVANA - BREED

There’s a Nirvana tribute album in the works to mark the 20th Anniversary of the band’s "Nevermind" album. Story Of The Year frontman Dan Marsala confirmed his band’s involvement in the set, as they recently covered the track "Breed." Marsala told St. Louis’ Riverfront Times that Hawthorne Heights and some other acts would provide covers. Hawthorne Heights drummer Eron Bucciarelli recently confirmed their participation and told AltPress.com that they would be covering "Lithium." A release date and compilation title have not been revealed.
