AC/DC - THUNDERSTRUCK

We told you about this a few weeks ago, and now confirmed details have surfaced. AC/DC will release the "Black Ice" World Tour live CD/DVD on May 10; Amazon lists the title as "AC/DC Live At River Plate." The band's 6th live release was filmed at the Buenos Aires gigs on December 2, 4 and 6, 2009 in front of 65,000 people each night at the River Plate Stadium in Argentina. The film was directed by David Mallet, who has been filming AC/DC for over 25 years, starting with "Who Made Who," which was also used in a feature film in 1986.

Golden Globe and Oscar-winning musican Trent Reznor (man, that sounds awesome) has given additional insight on some of his upcoming endeavors. In a post on the Nine Inch Nail’s forum, Reznor explained, “the three columns of things I’m currently funneling music into — How to Destroy Angels, Nine Inch Nails and film work — I believe will start to make more sense to you (and me) as everything unfolds. By having a few different outlets for my work I’m finding more inspiration within each one.” Reznor then added that “Nine Inch Nails is not dead and I plan to focus on that next.” Kick ass.

RADIOHEAD - KARMA POLICE

In a new BBC 6 Music interview, Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood said that – following the release of The King of Limbs last month – the future of the band is up in the air. "We have stopped planning ahead very far," said Greenwood. "We are recording with Radiohead and rehearsing, playing and making music and working out what to do." Greenwood also spoke about his future as a film score composer – a side project that has yielded much acclaim for him in recent years. Most recently, he took on the score of We Need to Talk About Kevin, a film that allowed him to stray from his No. 1 instrument – the guitar.
