1993 – Guns N' Roses announced they would keep the tune written by Charles Manson "Look At Your Game, Girl" on their album, "The Spaghetti Incident?" The decision to keep the song came when the band learned that the royalties would go to the son of one of Manson's victims. We also found out today that the boys WILL in fact be inducted into the Rock Hall of Fame next year!

FOO FIGHTERS - MONKEY WRENCH

There have been many, many books written about Nirvana. But about the Foo Fighters? Not so much. There are a few, but there hasn’t been one in a while—and certainly not one with much depth. That’s why you should look for This Is a Call: The Life and Times of Dave Grohl by Paul Brannigan. It runs over 350 pages, comes with an excellent discography and is nicely indexed for fast research. The book is unauthorized, so it’s not sanitized—and it contains some stories about Dave that I’d never heard before. If there’s a Foos fan or someone who loves Nirvana on your Christmas list, then you can’t really go wrong with this book.

Blink-182 will soon be turning up with the new video for “After Midnight,” but don’t expect it to be as upbeat and jovial as some of their other clips. Singer/bassist Mark Hoppus told MTV News, “We wanted it to be something different than just a bunch of people having fun and having a party. We wanted it to be a little darker, a little more troubled and Isaac [director Rentz]’s treatment did that.” Hoppus says the tone fits well with what the song is actually about. He explains, “The song itself is about troubled love. It’s about damaged people who fall in love and the video takes place in a psychiatric ward, and this guy and this girl escape from their rooms and have a night of romance and passion and fun and wild existence.” Keep an eye out for Blink-182’s “After Midnight” video, coming soon.

NICKELBACK - BURN IT TO THE GROUND

Nickelback have engaged in a Twitter war with Atlanta Braves relief pitcher Peter Moylan according to Loudwire. Moylan cast the first stone after seeing Foo Fighters live in Melbourne, Australia. Impressed by Foos frontman Dave Grohl, Moylan tweeted — "Note to @nickelback please attend a @foofighters concert. That's how's it should be done Chad." Nickelback went for the throat with their reply to the Moylan, referencing fellow Braves relief pitcher and 2011 National League Rookie of the Year, Craig Kimbrel – "@PeterMoylan Foos are killer for sure. We're doing just fine, too, thanks. for you Pete, is watching Kimbrel better from the bench or on TV? … p.s. happy birthday…" Ouch!
