Trent Reznor has revealed that he and producer/musician Atticus Ross are scoring the upcoming film about Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg. The Social Network is directed by David Fincher (Fight Club, The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button) and is due out October 1. Reznor says on NIN.com that the movie is "really f---ing good. And dark!" Speaking of NIN, Trent Reznor's wife Mariqueen Maandig has revealed that she is pregnant with the couple's first child. She revealed the news in an interview with Women's Wear Daily. Reznor, Maandig and producer/musician Atticus Ross recently released their first EP as the new band How To Destroy Angels.

Iron Maiden and Iggy & The Stooges are to be turned into art as the perform at the UK Sonisphere Festival. Artist Kilford, who sees music as colours, will start painting the bands as soon as they start playing and stop at the end of their sets. What happens to the painting afterwards remains to be seen. Kilford is known as the Art World's very own rockstar and is known for playing with artists such as Deep Purple, Damon Albarn, Robert Plant, and the Black Eyed Peas! Both Maiden and Iggy play on the main stage at Knebworth Park on August 1. There are rumours that a timelapse internet video will be posted at www.sonispherefestivals.com

Its not very often that you see a Canadian show tour across the US and sell out EVERY date. But two of our biggest exports have teamed up for a fall tour, and tickets are already scarce!!! Nickelback have extended their Dark Horse World Tour with a new leg featuring support from Three Days Grace and an opening spot from Buckcherry that will kick off on September 14 in Nashville and will run through October 30 in Las Vegas. According to the announcement, "The Dark Horse World Tour" has been a smashing success, as all previous legs have been completely sold out. Since 2009, Nickelback have sold more than 1.6 million tickets and have played more than 120 global shows. There arent any shows that are close to us but........

The Verve are likely done for good, according to singer Richard Ashcroft. The vocalist, who has followed his reunion with the band by forming a new group called The United Nations Of Sound, tells England’s ShortList magazine, “I can’t see any reason why, after headlining Glastonbury, headlining Coachella, headlining in Japan and making an album that’s better than 99 percent of other bands’ albums, The Verve would get back together.” The group split in 1999, but reunited for a tour in 2007 and an album the following year.
