PAPA ROACH - KICK IN THE TEETH

Papa Roach are still rocking hard and “Kick In The Teeth” is a track they’ve penned to express their dedication to their music. Singer Jacoby Shaddix tells us the song has a couple of meanings. For one, it’s a reference to the ups and downs of their career and how they’ve persevered through the rough times only to come out as one of rock’s strongest bands. Jacoby Explains......(CLIP) “Kick In The Teeth” is the lead single off Papa Roach’s newly released “Time For Annihilation” album. Youll have a chance to win that album September 17 - 19 on a Free Rock Weekend!

Rocker Tommy Lee's eldest son is becoming a hellraiser just like dad - his recent 14th birthday party was shut down by the police. Lee and Pamela Anderson's teenager Brandon asked his dad to help him organise a rave for his birthday in June. The Motley Crue star tells TV show Extra, "Brandon just turned 14 and he goes, 'Dad, for my birthday I wanna throw a rave.' He took over this place, I bought a huge sound system, lights, Glo-sticks ... The cops came three times and he was so pumped. "He was like, 'Dad, this is the coolest thing; my party got closed down by the cops.'" The 14 year old is the only wild man in the family now that his dad has stopped drinking. Lee explains, "I quit drinking 90 days (ago)... I'm a lot clearer, which is scarier; you don't wanna mess with this now."

AEROSMITH - EAT THE RICH

Aerosmith's final concert in Canada on their current tour may be the band's final concert period according to lead guitarist Joe Perry. Speaking with the Calgary Herald this week Perry Revealed, "Technically speaking, after the gig in Vancouver (on Sept. 16), I don't have a job with Aerosmith," We know these are the last shows for awhile. And I really do mean awhile. I don't know when we'll be out there again, the five of us, so we'll be playing with everything we've got."  The reason? Frontman Steven Tyler's new gig. While the Aerosmith have confirmed that Tyler will be a judge on American Idol, the Idol camp has yet to make it official. But Perry doesn't think too highly of the move, "It's a reality show designed to get people to watch that station and sell advertising. It's one step above (Teenage Mutant) Ninja Turtles," "It's his business, but I don't want Aerosmith's name involved with it. We have nothing to do with it."
