Yesterday was a new rock tuesday on 94X and we added 4 new tracks to our playlist. I debuted 2 of them yesterday and we will get to the other 2 today! Switchfoot returned with a brand new album, "Hello Hurricane" in late 2009 and found some slight success in a track called "Mess Of Me" and now we have a follow up single! Green Day are celebrating the release of “Rock Band: Green Day” this week and marveling at how the creators captured the different elements of their career. Drummer Tre Cool tells MTV.com that they continually challenged the programmers and designers to capture specific details from every era of the band and now that it’s finished, they are having fun reflecting. Singer Billie Joe Armstrong says, “Different details come up in the game that go from, you know, 1994 through 2000. Plus, what year is it now? 2009, 2010? And just kind of seeing the different tattoos and wearing a t-shirt I remember. Like the t-shirt that I wore and I wrote ‘stupid’ on it and put an arrow to my face. That’s the kind of details that they seem to nail.” Even the band’s favorite warm-up pal, the drunk bunny, makes an appearance in the game as well.

Last night, to kick off the release of their new album, Against Me! visited Spin to record a live-to-web broadcast. The band performed on the roof of the Spin building in support of their new album, White Crosses, released Tuesday.
