94XPOSED WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 9TH
Randy Bachman and Fred Turner have announced they are currently in the studio recording a new album of original material to be released in 2010 through E1 Music Canada and embark on a world-wide tour, kicking off at the Sweden Rock Festival on June 12, 2010. Over a four year run Bachman and Turner (as leaders of BTO) earned a staggering 120 platinum, gold and silver disks notching up hits in over 20 countries. The hard rock quartet reached #1 on both the Billboard singles and album charts as well as placing a half dozen more songs in the Top 50. "Takin' Care of Business", "You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet", "Let It Ride", "Roll On Down the Highway", "Hey You", "Blue Collar", "Not Fragile", "Four Wheel Drive", "Looking Out For #1", "My Wheels Won't Turn" – all classic rock anthems written by Bachman and Turner. After they split in the mid '80s, Randy and Fred went their separate ways, Randy to a solo career, the much-celebrated Guess Who reunion followed by Bachman-Cummings, as well as establishing himself as a jazz artist and radio personality (Randy's Vinyl Tap on CBC and Sirius satellite radio is heard by millions worldwide each week). Fred carried on with the other members of Bachman-Turner Overdrive before retiring from music at the end of the '90s.

LENNY KRAVITZ - ARE YOU GONNA GO MY WAY
Some "media" turned former Geffen Records executive John Kalodner's widely reported comments to Rolling Stone that Lenny Kravitz was the only one he could see replacing Steven Tyler in Aerosmith into suggestive reports that Kravitz was being considered by the band for the spot. Those reports caught the ear of Lenny Kravitz himself, who took to his Twitter/TwitLonger page to respond to the speculation: "As much as I am flattered that Aerosmith's camp would consider me to front the band, Steven Tyler is a family friend, and no voice could ever take the place of his. I hope the band stays together. They are classic. Lenny"

Whether or not Canadians own the podium at the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver, some Canucks will own the stage. Nelly Furtado, Barenaked Ladies and Billy Talent are among the performers who have been announced to headline the Vancouver Victory Ceremonies at next year's Olympics. Loverboy, Hedley, Burton Cummings, Great Big Sea and INXS have also been confirmed for the concert series, which will feature a performance each night at BC Place from Feb. 14 to 26. The performances will accompany the presentation of Olympic medals in sports including speedskating, snowboarding and freestyle skiing. One province or territory will be represented each night, though the performers will not always be associated with the region being honoured. Tickets range from $22 to $50. The concerts will air nightly on MuchMusic at 8PM.
