BLACK SABBATH - IRON MAN TENACIOUS D - TRIBUTE The initial lineup for the 2010 Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival has been announced! The ninth annual four-day camping and music festival will be held on June 10 - 13 on the same beautiful 700-acre farm in Manchester, Tennessee, 60 miles south of Nashville. Bonnaroo is set and ready to go. This year the festival features the Dave Matthews Band, Kings of Leon, Stevie Wonder, Weezer, Flaming Lips performing Dark Side Of The Moon, The Dead Weather, Phoenix, John Fogerty, Tenacious D, Jeff Beck, and Against Me!, to name but a small portion of the deep lineup. Stevie Wonder's Bonnaroo performance marks a rare festival appearance for the legend, whose songbook continues to be as influential and significant today as ever. Bonnaroo veterans Kings of Leon are the first band in the history of the festival to start on a tent stage and work their way up to the coveted headlining slot. --------------------------------BREAK------------------------------------ MGMT will release their sophomore album, Congratulations, on April 13. The duo co-produced the follow-up to their debut, Oracular Spectacular, and it features nine songs. Some of the new tunes include "It's Working," "Lady Dada's Nightmare," "Brian Eno," and the title track. MGMT - KIDS KISS - DOMINO Forget about spending £490 to see Bon Jovi. In an unusual display of generosity, Kiss have created a free online Valentine’s Card. To view the card, go to http://mail.live-store.com/images/kiss/index.html (make sure your compuer’s volume is on). Why don’tcha send the link (www.livenation.co.uk/KissCard) to your loved one? Because, as Kiss said on their Unmasked album, it’s What Makes The World Go Round. ---------------------------BREAK--------------------------- Arms Of The Sun, a project featuring Rex Brown (Pantera, Down) on bass, John Luke Hebert (King Diamond) drums, Lance Harvill on vocals and guitar, and Ben Bunker (Gryn) on guitar, has completed work on thirteen tracks that were produced and mixed by Terry Date (Deftones, Pantera, Soundgarden). The material is set for a late February release and is being produced by famed former Beatles producer, Sir George Martin. There is a serious buzz about this band and some sources seem to think that these guys could be the next powerhouse hard rock band. PANTERA - COWBOYS FROM HELL |
