When Aerosmith decided to skip western Canada on their upcoming North American summer tour, they unleashed the wrath of the people who lost money when the band pulled out of their 2009 tour. They may now pay a big price for the snubbing. Last years trek, which included five dates in Western Canada, was cancelled after Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler fell off the stage at the Sturgis Rally. This year's tour only includes one date stop when they hit Toronto on August 17th.  QMI Agency reports that Keystone Entertainment Group Ltd. is seeking $6 million in damages over the band's cancelled tour of the prairies and Vancouver last August, and its refusal to schedule new dates.

Stone Sour's new album, Audio Secrecy, will stores on September 7th. The band is giving fans a sneak preview of the album by offering a limited-time download of a new song titled "Mission Statement."  "Mission Statement" will be available for 48 hours only beginning this Thursday, June 10th at 11am EST. As Tool gets ready to hit the road on a summer tour, frontman Maynard James Keenan says that the band is still making progress on their first record since 2006, while he also is plotting a new album from A Perfect Circle. Keenan says that he understands that fans don't like the long wait between Tool records, but the band takes its time and doesn't rush into finishing projects. No release date has been given for either album but Maynard did Hint that the bands would be testing out some completed new songs on this summers tour! Tool plays Edmonton July 7th and Vancouver July 9th! Ticketmaster has your tickets!

REV THEORY - FAVORITE DISEASE

Rev Theory is currently at Los Angeles' Henson studios recording its as-yet-untitled new album with famed veteran rock producer Terry Date (Soundgarden, Pantera, Deftones). The follow-up to 2008's "Light It Up" is scheduled for release in early 2011 via Interscope. The title track from Rev Theory's sophomore CD was chosen as the theme to Wrestlemania Xxiv. The first single, "Hell Yeah", from "Light It Up", became a fist-pumping anthem for masses of concertgoers and is currently the theme song for Spike's hit Tv show "Blue Mountain State". Rev Theory will begin touring in late 2010 in support of the forthcoming album.
