The muse for Weezer’s “Memories” single comes from the band’s early days, but the video for the track has a more recent feel. Singer Rivers Cuomo tells MTV News the original track comes from his early days supporting the band’s first album. He recalls, “I had been married for a few months and had been in school for the semester before that, and basically I had been away from the band and the rock world for a while. I was really missing it, and just sitting there alone in my room missing the fans and missing my band, so ‘Memories’ is about getting back there.” As for the video, it features some of the friends they’ve made in recent years. Jackass stars Johnny Knoxville, Wee Man, Chris Pontius, and Steve-O all turn up in the clip for what director Jeff Tremaine says is “an old-school skate jam.” The video is now available at www.mtv.com/videos/weezer/559819/memories.jhtml.

Two legends of heavy metal are teaming up for a fall tour. Ozzy Osbourne has recruited Judas Priest frontman Rob Halford to join him on a month long arena tour. The first leg of arena dates will mark Ozzy's first headlining North American tour since 2007's trek for his Black Rain album. He is touring in support of his new album, "Scream".  Rob Halford will be touring in support of 'Halford IV - Made Of Metal,' the new album from Halford which hits stores later this month.

It turns out Vince Neil is a bigger Saint then we expected! The Hilton hotel resort in Las Vegas has cleared Motley Crue's Vince Neil of allegations that he attacked a woman in an elevator on Sunday night. Hotel Executive Vice President Ken Ciancimino tells WENN, "After reviewing surveillance video and interviewing witnesses, we've concluded that her allegations against Vince Neil are completely unfounded.... We also understand that the local authorities have deemed her allegations to be without merit."
