94XPOSED THURSDAY DECEMBER 10
It's been a pretty rough few months for Calgarians The Dudes — or should I say the Bad News Bears. They've found themselves in the back of ambulances almost non-stop since the release of their aptly titled Blood Guts Bruises Cuts album in June. The series of accidents began in June, a week before their first supporting tour.
Band Member Dan Vacon decided to ride his BMX home from a party and ended up crashing into the sidewalk and breaking his collarbone. 1 Week after he was healed and good to go he hit a Parked car riding the same BMX and broke his collarbone on the other side. Then just 5 days ago, Drummer Scott Ross was hit by a Cab in zero visibility weather in Thunder Bay Ontario and was dragged 30 feet effectively breaking both of his Knee caps. The boys are touring on! They are in ontario until the 18th when they play a Homecoming show In Calgary!

It's just the way Rock Radio told you in August: Iron Maiden have confirmed they'll be headlining Sonisphere at Knebworth Park during what will be a three-day event from July 30 until August 1, 2010. Rammstein, Alice Cooper, Motley Crue, the Cult and Iggy and the Stooges will also appear - and there's a chance the Big Four of thrash might play the same show for the first time in history. Anthrax and Slayer have already been confirmed for next year's event, with Metallica lined up to appear at the European versions of Sonisphere - leading to a new bout of rumours that Megadeth might appear too.

The 5th Anniversary of the Death Of Dimebag Darrell just passed this past Tuesday and the tributes and kind words for the fallen Shredder keep pouring in from some of the biggest names in rock. Jonathan Davis, Lead singer of Multi Platinum Rockers Korn reveaeled that Dimebag was the reason Korn sounded as heavy as they did.
"The shit he did, that’s what got me into heavy music — Vulgar Display of Power," Korn’s Jonathan Davis told RS at last year’s OzzFest fest, which featured an all-star jam in honor of Abbott. "The first time I ever saw them live, before Korn was even signed, it was Pantera and Sepultura at Irvine Meadows in L.A. They came out, started the first song, the curtain dropped, and me and Fieldy just started crying. We looked at each other and we had tears in our eyes because it was so fucking intense and heavy and sick."
