One time Guns N' Roses guitarist Gilby Clark was reportedly hospitalized after a hit and run accident this weekend. Blabbermouth has the report: According to former MTV "Headbangers Ball" host Riki Rachtman, ex-Guns N' Roses/Rock Star Supernova guitarist Gilby Clarke was hospitalized Sunday (January 10) after he was the victim of a hit-and-run motorcycle accident. After visiting Gilby in the hospital earlier tonight, Rachtman wrote, "Gilby's got some good breakage in that leg. He is in good spirits considering."

Harmonix and MTV Games have announced that a five pack of songs from Alice In Chains will be added this week (Xbox 360 and Wii on 1/12, PS3 on 1/14) to the Rock Band Music Store of downloadable content for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system and Wii. "Last of My Kind" and "Your Decision," the latest single from the band's new album. The pack also includes "Grind" and "Heaven Beside You," from the band's double-platinum, self-titled 1995 album; as well as "We Die Young" from their 1990 debut, Facelift.

Grammy Nominated rock powerhouse Stone Sour announced today the commencement of work on a new album for Roadrunner Records, their first piece of new work in over 4 years. The albumn is being recorded in Nashville and is expected to be released this summer. Corey Taylor has recently dropped hints that Slipknot will also be working on a new album in the near future although no details are available at this time.....
