There is now speculation that System Of A Down will be reuniting in the near future, thanks to a one-sentence Tweet from bassist Shavo Odajian. Odajian simply wrote "Are u guys ready for System???," prompting rumors that the rockers may be ending their hiatus. Following tours for their double releases of Mezmerize and Hypnotize, System went on hiatus in 2006. Singer Serj Tankian has operated as a solo artist since then, while guitarist Daron Malakian and drummer John Dolmayan formed the short-lived band Scars On Broadway.
