94XPOSED MONDAY FEBRUARY 13TH

We are going to start of the show today honouring and giving congrats to the Foo Fighters!! The iconic rock band cleaned in the “Rock Categories” last night at the Grammys. They took home best rock album, best rock performance and best rock song. Not to mention, they destroyed the stage with two amazing performances. But the big moment for the Foo Fighters last night came when Dave Grohl hit the stage for an acceptance speech. He talked about how this record is special because they made it the old school way, in his garage. He then goes on to say this...

Foo Fighters – Walk

Slash Ft. Andrew Stockdale – By The Sword

Velvet Revolver and Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash is hitting the road for a North American solo tour. The solo tour is set to kick off on May 3 in Baltimore and will include three festival appearances. Before the tour begins, Slash will make a special appearance this Saturday, February 18, when he joins Stevie Wonder, Chris Cornell, Lenny Kravitz, LL Cool J, Snoop Dogg, actors Anthony Hopkins, James Gandolfini and more at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas for a 70th birthday celebration to honour boxing legend Muhammad Ali. Slash said "Muhammad Ali is & always has been a role model & a hero to me," "It's a huge privilege to be able to perform in his honour. He is one of the great icons of American culture and history."

----------------------BREAK------------------------

Blur guitarist Graham Coxon says that fans can expect a new Blur album. However, he doesn't specify exactly when the reunited Britpoppers will begin work on a forthcoming release. In a couple weeks, Blur are being honoured with the Outstanding Contribution to Music award at this year's Brit Awards. "It's pretty nice to be getting the Brit award," Coxon told NME. "We haven't planned the rehearsals yet, but there will definitely be another Blur album."

Blur – Song 2

Bush – Sound of Winter

Bush has actually just released a music video for their next single. “Baby Come Home” is the track and you can find it on today's Xposed post on 94xfm.com. Let us know what you think of the new single, and maybe you'll be hearing it soon rocking the X.

-------------------------BREAK--------------------------

Well Adele cleaned up at the Grammys last night, and rightfully so. Her smash album “21” has been sitting at number 1 on the charts for a long time. Not to mention her hit “Rolling in the Deep”, the song that won “Record of The Year”, and what it has dun for music. Just about everybody and their dog have covered this track. Some very good, some laughable. One band who killed a cover of her track is Linkin Park. They recorded this live version this past summer. And although we cannot play the whole track, here is a sample of Chester's vocals...

I've posted the full song on today's 94X-Posed page, and I fully recommend checking out the epic performance.
