94XPOSED MONDAY JUNE 14

94XPOSED MONDAY June 14th

Last week, a supposed Pearl Jam track leaked and spread online with plenty of speculation about where the song would surface. EW.com reports that the track is actually an Eddie Vedder contribution to the upcoming Julia Roberts film, Eat Pray Love. The track, alleged to be titled “Better Days,” was hacked from a secure site manned by the band’s Monkeywrench Records label. The film, which also stars Vedder’s pal Javier Bardem, is expected later this summer.

Slash now has something in common with Oasis’ Noel Gallagher, though he fared a little better than the Brit guitarist. During a Thursday performance in Milan, Italy, Slash was tackled by a fan who made it onstage. But it was his guitar that suffered the brunt of the damage. Where Gallagher suffered broken ribs during a Toronto festival, Slash escaped unharmed. The guitar was broken and eventually replaced. Slash later commented, “What’d I say? Rowdy crowd for sure. But amazing! The guy who nailed me didn’t take me down, but he busted my poor guitar. Ah well, it was a kick-ass rock show of the first order.”
