2005 – The Foo Fighters released “In Your Honor.” It was a 2 disc set with the first disc being an acoustic set which the band toured ampitheatre's for, and the second disc was full of typical Foo Fighter's Rock, which they toured stadiums and arena's for! If you are a Foo Fighter's Fan then you'll want to check out their documentary "Back And Forth" which was released to stores today! I watched it last night and I was blown away by the story of the band. Its a must see for any fan of Dave Grohl!
FOO FIGHTERS - EVERLONG Billie Joe Armstrong, frontman for Green Day, will make his live-action silver screen debut in the film adaptation of "American Idiot." Armstrong will play St. Jimmy, the same role he played for numerous performances of the "American Idiot" stage musical. The movie will be directed by Michael Mayer (director of the stage show as well) and is due out in 2013. ------------------------BREAK--------------------------- Rocker Amy Lee has dealt former boyfriend Shaun Morgan another blow - she has stolen his guitarist for her band Evanescence. Troy McLawhorn quit Morgan’s group Seether earlier this year due to “personal friction” with a bandmate, and now he has rejoined Lee and Evanescence - the band he left to join Seether in 2008. Announcing the news on his Facebook.com page, he writes, “I’m really happy to be back again and can’t wait for everyone to hear the new music.” The news came as a surprise to Morgan, who wrote on Twitter, “Interesting news about our old guitarist. Can anyone guess? No, he’s not coming back. He went to another band. Little anti-Shaun club. Any more guesses...? So, good f***ing luck to Amy Lee and Troy.” Lee and Morgan had a very messy and public break-up in 2005 after dating for two years.
SEETHER - COUNTRY SONG Dave Mustaine is currently working on a new Megadeth album and the band will participate in Big 4 shows across Europe and in the US throughout the year. But he hints the outfit will roll to a halt at some point in the future. "I've got the dubious honour of managing a band called Baptized in Blood, and my manager and I are managing Testament, which is awesome. We're doing some other things outside the scope of playing music, so once I hang up my guitar I'm still going to be very much involved – and I'm excited about that." Mustaine also says rumors circulated about him in the press made it more difficult for him to clean up his life.
