Lenny Kravitz has teamed up with Atlantic Records/Roadrunner Records for the release of his ninth studio album, Black and White America, which is due this summer. Marking his first release of new material in three years, Black and White America continues Kravitz' mix and Rock and Funk influences with his signature guitar riffs and compelling melodies. Kravitz produced, wrote and arranged the 12 tracks on the record, which was recorded in Paris and the Bahamas. In addition to the new work, Kravitz plans to kick off a world tour in June.

94X congratulates Green Day and Billie Joe Armstrong for winning a 2011 Grammy Award for "Best Musical Show Album" for American Idiot: The Original Broadway Cast Recording. Released in April, the official album features the 24-member cast of the smash-hit musical accompanied by Green Day, marking another incredible collaboration between the band and the musical. This is the fifth Grammy win for Green Day. The band has previously won twice in the "Best Rock Album" category for their platinum sellilng album 21st Century Breakdown, as well as for their blockbuster 2004 album American Idiot.

Late night TV is relatively watchable tonight! I've become a huge fan of the Jimmy Kimmel show and of course, the resurrected Conan! But Jimmy Kimmel Live is the place to be tonight as Jimmy features Biutiful’s Javier Bardem, Flavor Flav and music guests Stone Sour performing "Say You'll Haunt Me" and "Hesitate". Brad Walst – The Three Days Grace bassist is 34. Alot of people don't know this but Brad Walst is the older brother of Matt Walst who is the lead singer for My Darkest Days. Brad is responsible for the boys from My Darkest Days meeting up with Chad Kroeger as he gave the single "Porn Star Dancing" to Chad while they were on tour together. Kroeger loved the tune and immediately got to recording and marketing the song and the rest is history! Check out My Darkest Days March 1st at the CN Centre!
