94XPOSED THURSDAY FEBRUARY 16TH

Joe Bosso from MusicRadar caught up with producer Jack Douglas to discuss Aerosmith's forthcoming album. Douglas says "We're going back to the rawness. There's something special about the vintage Aerosmith vibe, and that's what we have here. It's got that '70s feel and sense of humor. It's a bit of a concept album, there's a theme running through it, but I can't really talk about that right now. But to get that edge and spirit, it made sense to capture tracks live with the band playing all out.” I think I speak for all when I say, BRING ON OLD SCHOOL AEROSMTIH!!

Green Day – Brain Stew

Billie Joe Armstrong has Tweeted about Green Day, and reveals the band have officially begun studio sessions on their new album. Armstrong posted: "Happy Valentine's day! Officially started recording the new record today." In November 2011, Green Day debuted a new song, "Carpe Diem," during a live show in San Francisco. The band have previously played new material at live shows, with a more aggressive sound than the pop-rock of recent albums. Working titles reportedly include "Wow, That's Loud" and "Make Out Party." The trio have been demoing material since May 2011.

The Dave Matthews Band have announced thier first North American Summer Tour since 2010. They will only hit Canada once, June 2nd in Toronto, but they will spend 3 nights rocking out the Gorge Amphitheatre on Labour Day Weekend. IF you have never seen these group live, I highly recommend it. Just one of those acts that goes all out in it's live performances.

We're the first Danish band to achieve that, and with a song written for boxing champ Kessler. Going #1 and topping acts like Foo Fighters and Nickelback, we never dared to believe! Kings of Leons have hinted that they could start work on a new studio album this year.
Speaking to MTV, drummer Nathan Followill said the band had repaired their relationship after 2011 and would "probably start kicking around" some new ideas in the studio in the next six months. The Tennessee stadium rockers were forced to cancel their entire US tour last year after frontman Caleb Followill stormed offstage in Dallas on July 29 and was deemed too ill and exhausted to tour, with his bandmates later plagued by rumours that they wanted tokick him out of the band and were trying to send him to rehab. Personally, I can't wait for a new album form those guys
