Its a new rock WEDNESDAY on 94X! I have 3 new tracks that have been added this week and today we will debut 2 of them for you! I'll finish off the show with a brand new track from Disturbed. And we kick off PG's only rock news show with some Canadian hard rock! Vancouver Rockers Five Finger Death Punch recently released an Album called War Is The Answer. On that album they do a wicked cover of Bad Company! The guitar work from these guys is amazing!

It seems everybody has an opinion about the Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf Of Mexico, which was the result of an explosion on a BP oil rig on April 20. And everybody pretty much thinks it's bad. Even Buckcherry. The Los Angeles hard rockers who were once more well known for singing about cocaine addiction and Paris Hilton's sex tape than anything political have released a tune called "Our World (The BP Disaster Song)" for free download through their website and the widget at the end of this story. The song will be included on the band's new album, All Night Long, which is out Aug. 3.

AIRBOURNE have a reputation for putting on a killer live show. Their passion for rock n' roll shines through as they barrel through their songs with energy and enthusiasm, chugging beers (even smashing the cans on their heads on occasion) and jumping from the stage to play in the crowd. At festivals, front-man Joel O'Keeffe has also been known to climb the rigging, and at this year's Download Festival he went a little further than normal, causing the stage manager to race across stage and pull the power on the band until Joel returned to the ground.

Motley Crue frontman Vince Neil has this little nugget of info about Ozzfest he passed on to Billboard: "I'm kind of hearing that after this Ozzy's going to step aside and there'll just be Crue Fest from now on, which is kind of cool. That would be a great honor from Ozzy if it happens." Don't remember Cruefest's two attempts competing with Ozzfest. Does this mean that Sharon would run the next Cruefest? We'll have to wait and see.
