94XPOSED THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 16TH

Quiet Riot are back in business with a new frontman filling the void left by the death of Kevin DuBrow. Drummer Frankie Banali felt the desire to revisit the band’s music while putting together a new documentary on the group and has found a new vocalist that will allow the band to tour. Bassist Chuck Wright and guitarist Alex Grossi have rejoined Quiet Riot with new vocalist Mark Huff filling out the final slot. Huff won the slot after auditioning and once the band got the blessing from DuBrow’s family, they proceeded. The group are currently firming up plans for a fall tour and Banali is wrapping up his work on the Quiet Riot documentary. Here is the title track from the album that was the first Metal album to hit Number 1 on the Billboard charts!

QUIET RIOT - METAL HEALTH (BANG YOUR HEAD)
MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE - TEENAGERS

My Chemical Romance's forthcoming fourth studio album looks likely to be named 'Danger Days: True Lives Of The Fabulous Killjoys', according to HMV.co.uk. Although the band have yet to officially confirm the LP's title and release date, the music chain have listed the record in their pre-order listings, with a UK release date slated for November 22. The album's likely artwork, which is also on the site, shows a white spider scrawled over the Californian desert – yet to be confirmed as the final cover, it's similar to a print guitarist Frank Iero posted on a recent blog on the band's official website MyChemicalRomance.com.

During a recent interview at the Toronto International Film Festival, Bruce Springsteen said that some of his favorite current acts are punk bands (or groups that carry a heavy punk influence), according to Spinner.com. He sang the praises of bands such as Against Me! and The Gaslight Anthem, among others. “If you’re good you’re always looking over your shoulder,” he said. “That’s the life, it’s the gunslinger life. ‘Yes, you are very fast my friend.’ My son and I went to see Bad Religion and the Dropkick Murphys and it was an incredible show. So I’m watching my kid in the mosh pit and he’s soaked in a pool of sweat and at the same time I’m looking at these bands saying, ‘They’re good.’ He also had high praise for Tom Gabel, the lead man for Against Me! "Tom Gabel is a captivating figure when he gets onstage. He reminds me of me a long time ago" So this ones for the Boss! Brand New Against me, White Crosses on 94Xposed!

Embattled pop star George Michael wept following his first night in jail after fellow inmates reportedly taunted him with rowdy versions of his most famous hits. The former Wham! singer was jailed for eight weeks on Tuesday after he pleaded guilty to possession of cannabis and driving under the influence of drugs.  He was immediately transferred to London's tough Pentonville prison from court, and entered the imposing jail to a chorus of his hits Freedom and Faith. Michael is being kept on the Vulnerable Prisoners Unit - which houses serious sex offenders and pedophiles - for his own protection. As well as the jail time, Michael was fined $1,875 with $150 in court costs, and banned from the roads for five years.
