As they gear up for the September 7 release of Audio Secrecy, Stone Sour has announced a special intimate show/record release party at The Studio at Webster Hall in New York City on August 30. The entire show will be streamed live online at stonesour.com and roadrunnerrecords.com beginning at 8:30 p.m. EST. Additionally, Stone Sour will be premiering songs from the new album on the main stage of this summer’s Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival, which launches on August 17 in Minneapolis. The 36-date trek wraps on October 4 in Madison, WI.

Now we finish off the show with some new SOUNDGARDEN! Telephantasm: A Retrospective, a new Soundgarden compilation album, will be packaged with initial shipments of the Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock video game set for release on September 28, 2010. This is the first time a retail music CD has been packaged with a video game, and is one week before the same CD is available in stores on October 5, 2010.
