1998 – The Offspring issued their “Americana” album, which spawned the hit single “Pretty Fly for White Guy.” The boys are currently working on a new album with Producer Bob Rock. There seems to be some issues with it thought as it was supposed to be in stores 7 months ago. The boys promise it will be released before the end of next year!
OFFSPRING - SELF ESTEEM Linkin Park are relaunching their fan club which will be offering members access to a CD or digital download of rare songs created in sessions leading up to the recording of Hybrid Theory through A Thousand Suns. The newest version of their eleven-year old fan club has been dubbed LPU11, according to 60 Cycle Media. Vocalist Mike Shinoda says, "The music we release to the LP Underground are always special. They're the rawest form of our songs, including finished and unfinished tracks from nearly all our albums. We take a lot of time crafting any of our studio albums, and these songs are a great insight into the process." Join the fan club at http://www.linkinpark.com/ ------------------------BREAK-------------------------- The Black Keys have been booked as the musical guest for the December 3 episode of Saturday Night Live with host Steve Buscemi, according to Rolling Stone. The band will be promoting their seventh album, El Camino, and they will have the rare distinction of appearing on the show twice in one year. Their first 2011 appearance on the long-running series was on the January 8 episode with host Jim Carrey.

Over 20 cm's of white stuff fell since last night causing the usual accidents and issues in the PG area. It's also started up the Whine factory! Everywhere you go you are pretty much guaranteed to hear at least one person bitching about the snow and cold.
