Raine Maida – The Our Lady Peace singer is 41. Raine has promised a new Our Lady Peace Album later this year and he has also revealed that he will be releasing another solo project as a follow up to 2008's Hunter's Lullaby. Its going to be a busy year for the Canadian rockers!

Radiohead have released their new album King of Limbs digitally a day earlier than expected. The Oxford band have also put a new music video for a track called Lotus Flower on their website. They had originally announced that the record would be released on Saturday 19 February. But the record, the band's eighth studio album, is now available to download on the band's website. It sees the five-piece ditching the "pay for what you want" format they tried for 2007's In Rainbows. Get the new album HERE!

Stone Sour rocked Jimmy Kimmel's show this week. The band performed "Hesitate," from their latest album "Audio Secrecy." Singer Corey Taylor has been in the rock news lately, as his name was rumored to be among the potential candidates for the open vocalist slot in Velvet Revolver. VR have not made any announcement about their final decision on the issue, but Slash has confirmed that Taylor was the most recent rocker the band honed in on for the gig. Stone Sour head to Japan for a series of dates starting this weekend, before they kick off The Avalanche Tour across the States next month; the package includes Theory Of A Deadman, Skillet, Halestrom and Art Of Dying.

Saturday – February 19th - 1980 - Bon Scott, the lead singer of heavy metal band AC/DC, died in London at the age of 33. He died as a result of choking on his own vomit after drinking heavily.
