94XPOSED THURSDAY AUGUST 18TH
The official web site for Metallica's collaboration with legendary singer and former Velvet Underground frontman Lou Reed has been launched at www.loureedmetallica.com
METALLICA - FUEL Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic will be honoring the 20th anniversary of the band's landmark album, Nevermind, by playing the record in its entirety at a concert in Seattle on September 20. The gig will take place at the Experience Music Project and will serve as a benefit for Seattle music industry figure Susie Tennant, who was recently diagnosed with cancer. Novoselic will be joined by a number of local musicians for the performance, but Dave Grohl fans should not hold their breath for a surprise appearance from the drummer, since the Foo Fighters are scheduled to play in Cleveland that night. ------------------BREAK---------------------
Last night the Red Hot Chili Peppers did it again! They released another epic music video for their latest #1 single, "The Adventures Of Rain Dance Maggie". The boys wanted to recreate the Beatles awesome Rooftop performance for the song "Get Back", but with a California flavour to it. The result is video full of awesome Socal sights, Entertaining performance's from Anthony Kiedis and Flea, and a perfect background for the current #1 song on the X Top 20!
RHCP - THE ADVENTURES OF RAIN DANCE MAGGIE Shinedown has begun work on their fourth studio album with producer Rob Cavallo (Kid Rock, Green Day), who previously collaborated with the band on 2008's The Sound Of Madness. "We are truly honored to be working with the legendary Rob Cavallo again," says Shinedown frontman Brent Smith. "He brings the absolute best out of us and our songs. To say we are emotionally charged to start recording the new album would be a huge understatement. Everyone hold on tight, this is going to be intense!" Shinedown's last album, "The Sound Of Madness" is, in my mind, one of the best Rock albums of the past decade! Can't wait to hear the follow-up! --------------------------BREAK------------------------ 2005 – Iron Maiden were pelted with eggs, ice and bottle caps during their final show on Ozzfest. Organizer Sharon Osbourne later accused singer Bruce Dickinson of disrespecting Ozzy Osbourne and the festival throughout their run on the festival. IRON MAIDEN - RUN TO THE HILLS |
