94XPOSED FRIDAY DECEMBER 18This day, December 18, 1943, Keith Richards (Rolling Stones) 66! ROLLING STONES - Paint it Black OZZY has announced he will release a new album next summer. His next record 'Soul Sucka' is slated to come out in June, and songs confirmed for inclusion are 'Let It Die', 'Diggin' Me Down' and the title track. The album, produced by Osbourne and Kevin Churko, will be the first to feature new guitarist Gus G. -------BREAK--------- WEEZER have cancelled the rest of their 'Raditude' tour of North America on doctors orders. The group were due to play dates in California and Arizona in January, but medics have advised frontman Rivers Cuomo that he must rest after the singer punctured a lung when his tour bus crashed earlier this month. Despite the cancellations the band have said that the shows will not be rescheduled at this point, but are looking to get back to the locations that have been affected in the future. WEEZER - Buddy Holly When the time came to create a visual for "Snuff", once again the band did the unexpected. The band has unveiled a short film (see website), co-directed by SLIPKNOT's own M. Shawn Crahan and renowned photographer/director P.R. Brown, to accompany the track. The film features frontman Corey Taylor as never seen before, interwoven in an intricate storyline. Taking the viewer on an emotional roller coaster ride, the piece is likely to generate more questions than answers.
-------BREAK--------- The BBC has issued an apology after RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE swore during a live performance of "Killing In The Name" (hear audio below) that was broadcast on BBC Radio 5 Live this morning (Thursday, December 17). The band was performing via a live link-up when frontman Zach De La Rocha sang "F*** you, I won't do what you tell me" four times. Producers faded the band out as they continued to play.
