Ozzy Osbourne is to release 30th anniversary editions of his first two solo albums, 1980’s Blizzard Of Ozz and Diary Of A Madman (1981).These are both expected to be out later this year. Unlike the bastardized 2002 versions, they will feature the original contributions from bassist Bob Daisley and drummer Lee Kerslake. The pair had their performances removed eight years ago, and replaced by Robert Trujillo and Mike Bordin, respectively. This followed a law suit issued against Ozzy by Daisley and Kerslake, claiming they were owed considerable sums of money for songwriting credits.

Marilyn Manson and fiancee Evan Rachel Wood are set to star in a slasher film titled Splatter Sisters, which is the first in a planned franchise of sexploitation-serial-killer-slasher movies inspired by horror classics from the '80s. Producer David Gordon Green told Variety, "This is a role Marilyn Manson was born to play, and with Evan Rachel Wood bringing dramatic gravity to the ensemble, I have no doubts this will take the horror genre to a new level." Manson also has been working on directing his own long-awaited project, Phantasmagoria: The Visions Of Lewis Carroll, since 2007.

Arcade Fire are warming up to the idea of new music. The band posted a “postcard” online that reads: “Howdy, y’all. Just finishing up pressing our new 12-inch. Should be in stores in the next couple of weeks, God willing. Good luck with finals, see you this summer!” The band recently revealed they were collaborating with filmmaker Spike Jonze on a short film, and Amazon has posted that a new single titled “Suburbs/Month Of May” is expected in two weeks time.
