Stone Sour’s Corey Taylor has high hopes for his band’s new album, “Audio Secrecy.” He tells MTV News, “Every song has a catchy hook – even the heavy stuff – every song is loaded with melody. It’s still got the attitude, but it’s there. It’s probably the best thing I’ve done in a long time.” Taylor says that Slipknot’s “All Hope Is Gone” was a great album, but he feels that with this new Stone Sour record, he’s eclipsing that in his own mind. He adds, “We recorded 18 songs and knowing that every tune not only has its own identity, but is damn good, I’m very, very proud of that.” The “Audio Secrecy” album is expected later this summer.
