94XPOSED MONDAY DECEMBER 19TH
Mige Amour – The HIM bassist is 37.
HIM - WINGS OF A BUTTERFLY Corey Taylor let his negative feelings about celebrated producer Rick Rubin become very public during a Q&A session on his solo tour, but while he says he’ll never work with Rubin again, he thinks the producer is perfect for certain other acts. He told Loudwire.com that Black Sabbath seemed like a great match, adding, “This is one of those instances I actually think Rick Rubin is perfect for. He gets out of the way and will let them get down to it. I can only hope they record it in the right way. I can only hope they get to do something righteous and not just something to make a buck. I think with Geezer and Tony pushing it forward, and obviously Bill and Ozzy, I think it will be fantastic. I am looking forward to a riff fest.” --------------------BREAK------------------ Shinedown will release a new single, “Bully,” on January 3 in the lead-up to the spring release of their next album. The album is being recorded at Ocean Way Recording in Hollywood, California, and the sessions are being produced by Rob Cavallo, who has manned the board for Kid Rock and Green Day releases and was previously in the producer’s chair for Shinedown’s The Sound of Madness album. The new album will be the follow-up to 2008's HUGELY successful "Sound Of Madness"
SHINEDOWN - SOUND OF MADNESS Godsmack frontman Sully Erna hit the interview circuit last week and detailed several plans the band has in the works including a live album, a spring co-headlining with Staind, and an unidentified release.
