KID ROCK - COWBOY
Kid Rock’s week in court didn’t go as hoped for the musician. A jury sided with Harlen Akins, and ordered the musician to pay him $40,000 in damages. The Associated Press reports that the damages will be divvied up amongst Rock and three other defendants who were also charged in the case, depending on their involvement in the attack. Rock will pay 15 percent for his role in the altercation. Akins sued Rock and members of his entourage after a scuffle in 2007 at an Atlanta Waffle House restaurant.

Disturbed feel confident about their "Asylum" album and feel it could have a long run at radio. Singer David Draiman tells us, "It’s funny. We keep having these conversations and in our opinion there are at least six very strong single candidates…easily in this body of work, if not more." But while singles are what most fans pick up on, the group aren’t ones to just have filler for the rest of their disc. The vocalist adds, "We don’t really approach songs as ‘Is this a single or not.’ We just try to approach songs from the perspective of making them as strong as each individual one can possibly be." Audiences solely listening for song releases have already heard "Another Way To Die" and "Asylum," but Draiman and drummer Mike Wengren say it’s definitely worth picking up the "Asylum" album to get the whole experience.
