94XPOSED THURSDAY OCTOBER 20TH

Yesterday was a New Rock Wednesday on 94X but we didn't have enough time to debut all the new Rock that we added to our playlist! So today we will finish off with 2 more debut songs for you! Blink 182 have released their follow up single to Up All Night and this one has a little more of the Blink sound that we were used to back in the late 90's!

BLINK 182 - AFTER MIDNIGHT
EVANESCENCE - WHAT YOU WANT

Evanescence are back in a BIG way. The band's self-titled album – it's first in five years – debuts at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart after selling 127,000 copies in its first week. It marks the band's second consecutive #1 debut; the group's last effort, "The Open Door," hit top spot in its first week with sales of 447,000 in 2006. The project's first single, "What You Want," climbs the Billboard Rock Songs airplay list, moving from 15 to 13, while speeding to the #17 position on the Alternative Songs chart.

Mick Jagger is about to add television producer to his extensive list of accomplishments. The Rolling Stones frontman is teaming up with filmmaker Martin Scorsese to create a new HBO drama depicting the 1970s rock scene, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Terence Winter – best known for creating HBO and Scorsese’s current hit drama, Boardwalk Empire – penned the show’s script. What, exactly, will this rock-saturated drama entail? The hour-long series promises to track the adventures of “a cocaine-fueled record executive in New York City circa 1977,” a time “when punk, disco and a new form of music called hip-hop collided.” Can't wait to see this one!!!

ROLLING STONES - GIMME SHELTER
VELVET REVOLVER - SLITHER

Slash has completed the first recording session for his second solo album at Barefoot Recording in Hollywood, California, with producer Eric Valentine. Joining Slash in the studio are the members of his touring band: vocalist Myles Kennedy (Alter Bridge), rhythm guitarist Bobby Schneck, bassist Todd Kerns (ex-Age of Electric) and drummer Brent Fitz (formerly of Theory of a Deadman). Slash has recently played three of the newly recorded songs – "Halo," "Standing in the Sun" and "Bad Rain" – for VH1 Classic's That Metal Show. One of the show's co-hosts Tweeted; "I can tell you the three songs I heard are heavy with killer riffs and vocals. It's the same band that he has been touring with last couple years on the album, and it sounds more cohesive because of it. Really strong!"

Today, I'll finish off 94Xposed with one more debut track! The Black Keys have become a household name over the last year with the release of their album, "Brothers". The Blues inspired Rock album had a completely different sound than anything that was out there and it has already spawned a top 5 single in "Howlin For You". The boys have a new song that is making some chart noise!

BLACK KEYS - NEXT GIRL
