Slash doesn't blame Scott Weiland for the controversies that led to the singer's departure from Velvet Revolver. In fact, the guitarist believes the whole band became victims to their chemical addictions – only Weiland suffered worse than his colleagues. The singer recently said he wishes Velvet Revolver well. Now, after the pair spent time together recently Slash tells Spinner.com: "I still love the guy and there's not any hard feelings. "Velvet Revolver was intended to be a lot of fun and we started off having a great time, but I think we all had chemical issues as the thing wore on." He said. "Scott had his issues. Even Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum went down the same road. The only one who stayed sober was Dave Kushner.

In what might be the shortest preview in the history of previews, Arcade Fire have posted two teasers of their new "The Suburbs/Month Of May" single on their website. "The Suburbs" preview begins with a folky riff, before keyboards are added to make it sound slightly honky-tonk. "Month Of May" draws from old-school rock 'n' roll, but it's got more of a Springsteen-ish feel to it. Both previews are about 20 seconds long, and you can hear them now (and get a bit frustrated?) on Arcade Fire's website.

Tracks from PANTERA's The Great Southern Trendkill album are coming to the Rock Band Network next week. All tracks are original master recordings; 'Suicide Note Pt. I' is not included in this pack. These tracks will be available on PlayStation 3 May 26th. These tracks will be available for purchase as The Great Southern Trendkill (Album), as well as individual tracks on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 system, and as individual tracks only on Wii.
